Outside

We will need a firm, smooth, & basically level area. Grass, asphalt, or concrete something similar works very well. We have found that very dusty or sandy areas aren’t very suitable.
On Grass: We use stakes to anchor our tent & will need to know if there is a sprinkler system or buried utilities beneath. (It makes for a much more pleasant event if everybody isn’t standing in puddles.)
On Pavement: We use large barrels to anchor our tent. You will need to provide 1,000 gallons of ballast water. (The fire department is your best option or a construction water tanker, imagine filling tons of barrels with a garden hose. Yikes!)

Inside

The main concern, with an indoor venue, is that the performance area is accessed by a door large enough for our equipment & instruments to fit through.
