Are you ready to start discovering the unique sounds of the Northern Lights Steel Orchestra (NLSO)? You may have seen us at one of our many concerts or perhaps you know about us by word of mouth. The NLSO is a fabulous step outside the ordinary, so you may not know the steps to book the NLSO for your event. The NLSO is always excited to talk to you about new and recurring events and will make every effort to work with your needs.

We, the NLSO, realize that you, obviously, can’t be expected to know our method of booking, so we would like to take this opportunity to outline a few things so that you won’t be surprised along the way.

• Balance
  We take into account the balance of the NLSO’s complete seasonal schedule when selecting events for the year. This includes among other things how busy our schedule is, and over or under saturation in a particular area.
• Venue
  We do like to include new venues along with some of our recurring venues. We are always looking to expand our event repertoire, meaning that we are open to traveling further abroad and participating in new types of events.
• Confirmation
  We do NOT confirm until early spring and we do not confirm on a first come first serve basis. Which means even if you contact us later in the season, it does not necessarily mean that you are too late.

Every event is different and we couldn’t possibly cover all eventualities in this booking section, so if you have more questions or perhaps a one-of-a-kind event, please feel free to contact us via email. We realize that talking to a real live person sometimes is the best answer.
