Dragon Boats for the Cure!(Day #3)

We’ve been away for 2 years from this spectacular event, but it hasn’t dimmed our memories of the wonderful spirit of the breast cancer survivors & fighters that we met at this event in past years.

Saturday is a day dedicated to the dragon boat competitions and the celebration of life and hope. This year we’ve heard there will be over 400 paddlers attending from across Canada and the US.

Sunday is a day set aside to benefit the local area’s hospitals and to help raise funds for new life saving equipment. It is also a perfect day to spend with the family. There will be a variety of vendors selling food, art, etc. There will even be face painting for the kids. We look forward to seeing you there.
